Ingredients: Organic olive oil, organic cane alcohol. Advanced botanical infusion of fresh and dried Monotropa uniflora (whole plant).
This Ghost Pipe Oil is a small-batch, experimental topical preparation made from last season’s harvest of Monotropa uniflora.
Ghost Pipe has a long history of traditional use with an affinity for the nervous system, pain, and the spine, though relatively little is known about its specific chemical constituents. For this reason, my work with Ghost Pipe has always been experiential and relational rather than analytical.
In my own topical use, this oil has felt deeply settling and reflective, carrying a quality similar to what many people experience when working with ghost pipe tincture internally. When applied topically, it carries a deep, settling quality — one that mirrors the reflective, nervous-system–calming effect many people associate with ghost pipe tincture. In preliminary personal use and informal sharing with friends, it has also shown promise for temporary relief of back and muscle discomfort, while leaving the skin soft and well cared for.
One early recipient shared:
“I’m quite impressed with your products after just one use. Not only did I experience relief, but my skin looks and feels amazing in the areas where I applied the oil.”
She went on to note:
“I was an esthetician for over 25 years and worked as an educator and trainer for international skincare companies and destination spas. In my professional opinion, your oils — Ghost Pipe specifically — contain top-notch ingredients that are beautifully made and genuinely effective.”
— Rebecca W., Master Esthetician
This oil is offered in very limited quantity and is intended as an invitation for slow, mindful exploration rather than certainty. As with all of my preparations, I encourage listening closely to your own body and experience when working with this preparation.
Apply a small amount topically to areas of tension, the spine, the feet, or anywhere you wish to invite grounding and reflection. For external use only.
